According to operational data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as of 3 November 2026 farmers had lifted 5.07 million tonnes of sugar beet from 102.2 thousand hectares — 59.8% of the forecast harvest area. The average yield is 49.6 t/ha (496.1 centners per hectare).
This is an operational nationwide snapshot of the 2026 campaign and harvesting continues: according to the ministry, about 68.7 thousand hectares, or 40.2% of the forecast area, remain to be lifted. Final results will be known once the campaign is complete.
For comparison, as of 31 October 2025 the harvest stood at 6.79 million tonnes from 130 thousand hectares at an average yield of 52.3 t/ha (522.6 centners per hectare) (Open4Business, citing the Ministry of Agrarian Policy). The two snapshots were taken on different dates (03/11/2026 and 31/10/2025), both before the end of harvesting, so this is a comparison of operational figures, not of season totals.
These figures refer to the weight of harvested beet, not to the volume of sugar produced: sugar output depends on the sugar content of the beet and on processing at the mills. Data date: 03/11/2026; this article was published on 05/11/2026.

What wholesale buyers should keep in mind
Operational harvest data does not show how much sugar will be produced or how much is available for sale. The price of an offer depends on packaging, delivery, payment terms and the size of the lot.
When planning a purchase, it is worth clarifying the characteristics and documents of the specific lot and comparing offers by the total cost of delivery to your warehouse.
